MyNipTuck Launches Service to Help the 30% of Americans Who Have Considered Cosmetic Surgery

According to a 2005 study of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, nearly 30 percent of Americans - or about 90 million people - have considered undergoing a cosmetic surgery procedure at some point.

While plastic surgery has become more available and affordable, it is not always easy to make the decision to go ahead with a procedure that will permanently alter one's appearance.

However, a new service, MyNipTuck, aims to make that decision-making process a little easier by providing a no-risk "virtual surgery" to customers that will help them visualize the potential results of cosmetic surgery.

For $19.50, those considering a procedure can upload front and side images of themselves, choose which procedure they would like to "try out", and in 24 hours, receive a professionally retouched image that helps them envision their post-operative appearance.

For the 90 million Americans - and countless more across the globe - considering cosmetic procedures, this service fills the gap that currently exists between imagination and actual surgery, providing a priceless step in a decision-making process that can have a huge impact on a person's future happiness and self-esteem.
